UPS Shipping Charges are based upon zones. California shipments to the east coast are going to be higher than shipments from Chicago or Dallas to the east coast. We attempt to ship from a warehouse closer to your location to reduce the shipping cost and to speed up the delivery time. Some items are stocked only in Southern California (SC large format papers, Graphic Art Supplies, Plotter Pens). The following shipment cost estimates are based upon shipments within the 48 states, for Zone 2 to Zone 8.

UPS charges a Delivery Area Surcharge ($1 to $2) that applies to Ground Packages delivered to residences and businesses in certain ZIP Codes to help offset the higher cost of providing service. Applicable ZIP codes can be found at www.ups.com
Large Package/Oversize shipments: Girth is the distance all the way around the package or object at its widest point perpendicular to the length. Length is the longest side of a package or object. A package is considered "Oversize1-OS1" when 1) the combined length and girth exceeds 84 inches, 2) the combined length and girth does not exceed 108 inches, and 3) the actual weight is less than 30 lbs. For each OS1 package, the billable weight is 30 lbs. A package is considered "Oversize2-OS2" when 1) the combined length and girth exceeds 108 inches, and 2) the actual weight is less than 70 lbs. For each OS2 package, the billable weight is 70 lbs. If the size of the package exceeds 130 inches in length and girth combined, then a 90# billable weight and a $40 package surcharge applies.

Dimensional Weight: On air freight shipments there is a density adjustment. A dimensional weight is established for the box size (L" x W" x H")/194. The larger of the dimensional weight versus the actual weight is used to calculate the shipping charge.
Packages over 60 inch in length, or its second longest side exceeds 30 inches, will carry an Additional Handling charge of $6. Maximum package length is 108 inches. Maximum package size is 130 inches in length and girth combined. If length plus girth exceeds 130 inches and less then 165 inches, then a minimum billable rate of $90 applies or the actual weight charges whichever is greater and a $6 additional handling charge.
COD charges are $8.50 per package (not available when direct shipping from warehouses).
Insured value is $1.50 for $100 to $300 in value and is an additional $0.50 for each additional $100 of value above $300. Insurance is included for values under $100.
